Images of Atom Models

In Science in Context, there are two different images of severa; atomic theories. To retrieve them:

1. Click "Images" above the search box and type in "atomic theory". Select the first image.

2. Click "Images" above the search box and type in "atom". Select the first image.

In Atomic Structure, select the Early Atomists chapter, p. 25.

 

The Atomic Theory Assignment

Check your teacher's Aspen page for the complete assignment. You will be researching the following scientists' theories about atoms: Democritus, John Dalton, Ernest Rutherford, Niels Bohr, J. J. Thomson, Irwin Schrodinger and Werner Heisenberg. Click on the databases and ebook to gather information and images.
